Today we had our first real snow in Cambridge. We probably ended up with a few inches, but Southeast England was pretty heavily hit.
Tim and Anne's school closed (eventually), but even though Colin's school stayed open, we all stayed home. Wouldn't be fair for the others to stay and him to go! So we built small snowmen, ate popcorn, watched movies, and spent time with friends.
In the morning, Tim and I ended up venturing into town to snap some pictures and have some hot chocolate. On the way we ran into several others from St. Albans doing the same thing, and joined one of Timmy's classmates and his family for breakfast and hot chocolate at Carluccios. Food was preceded and followed by a spirited snowball fight!
The town was just gorgeous all covered with white, with big flakes floating down. Such a lovely morning!
